Democrats are attacking the SAVE Act, which would require voters to prove they are citizens when registering to vote and provide a picture ID when they vote, as an effort to disenfranchise married women, minorities and the rural poor. They’ve called it “Jim Crow 2.0.”
They said the same thing when Georgia tightened its voting laws in the wake of the 2020 election (which I don’t believe that Trump won). Major League Baseball pulled the All-Star Game from Atlanta over the law…and none of the predicted doom and gloom happened.
Democrats put ease of voting above the security and integrity of the election system. Apparently, they believe that more illegal votes—regardless of the numbers—help them. That should worry all Americans.
